Survey-grade mapping for Southwest Florida sites
Drone LiDAR, orthomosaic mapping, and 3D documentation across Naples, Fort Myers, and the Lee and Collier growth corridor. Survey-tied point clouds, topos, and volumes, delivered the way your civil team already designs.
Water is the whole design problem here
Southwest Florida is doing two things at once: rebuilding what Ian took and pushing new development east into Collier and Lee. Both run on the same thing, accurate ground. On land this flat, sitting this close to the Gulf and the Everglades, a few inches of grade decide whether a site drains or takes on water, and you can’t design that off a photograph.
We capture what you can design on. Control points and an RTK or PPK pass tie the whole capture to real-world coordinates, so nothing drifts. Out toward Ave Maria, Babcock Ranch, and the wetland edges, LiDAR does the heavy lifting, reaching the ground through palmetto and scrub that a photo map reads as solid cover.
Then it comes back in your formats, ready for your CAD or GIS instead of stuck in a viewer. From a rebuilt parcel on the coast to a several-hundred-acre tract inland, we scope the work to what the design actually depends on.

Mapping products for Southwest Florida engineers
The sensor follows the job, from a quick look for planning to a survey-grade deliverable.
Drone LiDAR & point clouds
Point clouds dense enough to find ground under the brush, for topos and design.
Orthomosaic mapping
Measurable, georeferenced site mosaics for plans and documentation.
Topos & drainage
Terrain and surface models with contours, the grade detail flat coastal sites live on.
3D models & volumes
Reconstructed 3D models with cut, fill, and stockpile quantities.
Progress & earthwork
Recurring flights that track dirt across a build with numbers, not estimates.
CAD / GIS-ready files
LAS, GeoTIFF, DXF, and contours ready for your CAD or GIS.

Naples drone mapping questions
What engineers, surveyors, and developers in Southwest Florida ask us most.
Why does accurate mapping matter so much down here?
Because you’re designing drainage on flat ground next to the Gulf, and after Ian nobody in Southwest Florida takes water lightly. A few inches of grade change where it goes. A measured surface gives your civil team real elevations to design against instead of an assumption.
Does LiDAR help with the vegetation inland?
A lot. East of the coast, Collier and Lee parcels run to palmetto, scrub, and wetland edge. LiDAR pulses reach the actual ground between the brush, so you get true terrain instead of a canopy surface a camera would give you. On those sites it’s usually the right call.
How accurate is the data for civil design?
Survey grade when the deliverable calls for it. Control points and RTK or PPK pin the data to real-world coordinates, so every product agrees. For a rough planning look we can dial it back.
Can you fly sites near RSW?
Yes. Southwest Florida International’s Class C airspace covers part of the growth corridor, so we clear the authorization before the flight, and we schedule around the crews on an active site so the run doesn’t slow work.
What formats do you deliver?
The ones you design in: point clouds in LAS or LAZ, orthomosaics as GeoTIFF, surface and terrain models, contours, and DXF. Say what you design in and we hand it over ready to use.
