Survey-grade mapping for South Florida sites
Drone LiDAR, orthomosaic mapping, and 3D documentation across Miami-Dade and Broward. Point clouds, topos, and volumes tied to real coordinates and delivered in the formats your surveyors and civil engineers already work in, with the airspace handled.
Where land is this scarce, the survey has to be right
South Florida is largely built out, so most projects here are redevelopment: a tight infill parcel, a site being repositioned, an industrial tract near the port getting a second life. There’s no slack in a lot that size. The grading, the drainage, and the setbacks all have to work the first time, and that starts with a survey you can actually design against.
We capture to that standard. With ground control and RTK or PPK, the map, the terrain model, and the point cloud all reference one coordinate system. On a coast sitting barely above sea level, where Miami-Dade plans around water it didn’t used to, accurate elevation isn’t a nicety, it’s the design constraint.
The airspace is the other half of the job. Between MIA and FLL, most of the metro sits under Class B, so we clear the authorization before the flight and schedule around the crews on an active site. It comes back in your formats and goes straight to work in CAD or GIS.

Mapping products for South Florida engineers
We choose sensor and process to fit the output, from a planning-grade map to survey-grade data.
Drone LiDAR & point clouds
Dense 3D clouds for topos and civil design, on tight sites where the detail has to be right.
Orthomosaic mapping
One stitched, measurable image of the site, tied to coordinates.
Topos & drainage
Terrain and surface models with contours, the elevation detail a sea-level coast lives on.
3D models & volumes
3D reconstructions and volume takeoffs measured straight from the cloud.
Redevelopment & existing conditions
Accurate 3D of what’s already there, the starting point for any infill or repositioning.
CAD / GIS-ready files
Deliverables in LAS, GeoTIFF, DXF, and contours, built for your stack.

Miami drone mapping questions
What engineers, surveyors, and developers in South Florida ask us most.
Why does mapping accuracy matter so much on Miami sites?
Because the land is scarce and the water is close. Most work here is redevelopment on tight parcels where the grading and drainage have to work the first time, and on a coast sitting near sea level the elevation data is the design constraint, not a detail. A measured surface beats an assumption every time.
Can you even fly in Miami-Dade and Broward airspace?
Yes, and it’s why you want a certified operator. Most of the metro sits under the Class B airspace of MIA and FLL, so a mapping flight needs an authorization we clear in advance. We’ll tell you up front if a specific site can’t be flown legally.
How accurate is the data for civil design?
As accurate as the job demands. With ground control and RTK or PPK, the ortho, the terrain model, and the cloud all reference the same coordinates. Early-stage work can be scoped lighter and cheaper.
Can you document existing conditions for a redevelopment?
Yes, that’s a lot of what we do here. We capture an accurate 3D and measurable map of what’s already on the site, so your team designs the repositioning against reality instead of an old drawing.
What formats do you deliver?
Everything in your stack: point clouds in LAS or LAZ, orthomosaics as GeoTIFF, DSM and DTM, contours, and DXF or CAD files. Give us your stack and it opens clean the first time.
